It’s finally Friday and that means I get to share some of my favorite moments with you!! I love looking back over the weeks events and picking out a few moments to share!
Lets start with food! Making bread really has become a favorite moment! Sharing that with y’all on my last blog was a bit terrifying, if I am being honest. I do hope at least one person attempts to make some homemade bread and give me some feedback on how this recipe worked for them! If you missed that post, you can check it out right here!
The mini phot shoot of Carl on our tractor is absolutely a favorite moment. I was at work when Jordan sent me this picture and several others he had taken. Carl has really taken his farm dog training to a new level… but don’t worry as cute as he looks up there, he can’t have that job.
I shared a little bit about my goal to learn new skills in the kitchen on my last blog. So this week I tried making noodles! I used a simple egg noddle recipe and after a few attempts, I finally got it right. I paired it with some homemade herb bread and let me just say… it was delicious!! Jordan was pretty impressed too!
This is a small moment but it makes my heart happy. Beau is not great when he is off leash because he will chase anything that moves! This week we worked a bit on his manners with the chickens and although he is not anywhere near ready for them, he did do better being off leash.
The moments of stillness in the morning are really hard to capture but this was taken just before one of the most beautiful sunrises I have seen in a long time. I am so thankful for God’s new morning mercies!
